Goblin Pre-Raid : The Price of Reputation

Zekta Chan
Zekta Chan

Sons of Oh Dear

My Alt Shaman (Soon to be main) is getting to 80 (77 Currently)

And it’s time to start preparation for raid…
Since I am still considering going for Gold Pug or Crafted BOE
I’ll go for my Reputation Duty first…

Why so soon

from 77 to 80 level, I would be doing lots of quest, and I should start the rep grinding from the faction I need.

So it started with the Sons of Oh Dear… Oops .. the Sons of Hodir. For the Shoulder Enchantment of course.

Cost and Benefits

Now as a trader, it’s all about cost and benefits…
Let’s see what’s on the menu
Cost:

1. 5-6mins a daily (with 10 mins travel) (250 rep). reward 20g(@80)
2. 10 Relics of Ulduar (250 rep) which cost 1g each

So it’s 5-6 mins or 30g choice…
In my case, 30g is kind of fair for me…
This is 150-180g/hour,
and Glyph selling is 3-4k/hour (1-2k for 30mins work for glyph everyday).
I would definitely go for option 2.

Benefits:
Friendly -> Honored = 6000 Rep / 250 = 24 turn in = 240g
Honored -> Reverted = 12000 Rep / 250 = 48 turn in = 480g
Reverted -> Exalted = 21000 Rep / 250 = 84 turn in = 840g

1. Honor : 240g for able to buy a 18 spell power enchant (75g)
2. Exalted : 1560g (=240+280+840) for able to buy a 24 spell power enchant (100g)

I mean, 1320g for the right to purchase 6 spell power?
Not this time….

Or Another question should I bother the 18sp enchant at all ?

P.s

To Thorium: Next time we meet again, I’ll with 9 or 24 friends, be prepared… *sob*

God bye, Old Friend
