Seth got a new site Good for him, I really like the theme and layout, and I expect with higher degree of freedom on the site, we’ll had more interesting thing going on there…
And the podcast, now that’s one is great, Although he did a little nervous on his first one, I guess tonight’s one will be great, Keep it on, Seth!

That’s remind me the time I get my own domain name. Someone told me that, I am so lucky that I can get a domain with my own name. It’s kinda reverse, I get people call me Zekta, after I got Zekta.com . A shorthand for my original 8-letter long net-name. My parent and friend call my Chinese name (and other nick name) anyway.
Uniqueness is what I am looking for when I am creating this name. So that Google will rank me higher for anyone who look for me (If anyone ever wanted to).

JMTC IRC

JMTC IRC, what’s more exciting than that… I feel so noob after I listen to the chat with some giant in JMTC forum.

A slip of thought pass thru my mind that I wonder if I should keep blogging. Nan, They really should start blogging, but until then, I am safe . (finger crossed) But then I’ll have great blog to read, That would be nice too, that’s okay…

My Business

Aka Time to Cut loss

The Arctic Fur and Titan Changes interrupted my purchase plan. Now, I got 3 set of Arctic Fur and some Titan Steel to unload. Should able to get them out before the 3.3 patch.

I get my hand on two epic BOE dropped in Ulduar, and I got no use of it. I noticed that the price drop when the new raid CD refresh (New supply I guess) I’ll keep that until Sat-Sun….

I really got not much to said about business and gold making lately. (Got tons of ideas from IRC chat though…)

My Raid

aka Gold Pugs are Loverly!

I Bought 2×245 upgrade from 25 ToC Normal. For 1k each. The Trinket and Main Hand sold for 6k each, I should get my hand on that next time. But since it’s my first bidding, I should test the water before jumping in. A side note, The [item]Trophy of the Crusade[/item] Sold for 4k each.

At the end of the pug, each person got 2.2k. Which my net payment is 200g (it’s more like wage than profit, since I worked for it) With gemming and enchant, it’s even. (I am not using epic gem, since it’s 100% price, but only get 10-20% increase in stats)

I would said it’s even better than a “roll pug”. Chances of getting upgrade much lower (and Much inefficient), since rival-role player will roll on a minor upgrade, since it cost them nothing.

Note-to-self: I should talk more about gold-pug later on.

It’s nice for a quick revision and education material for those financial struggling guildmate we all have.

The Opportunity Cost session is my favorite. I was having a hard time trying to explain that to others.

Heat discussion had been on, and I am with the goblin.
Guild life won’t be better, same people, different game setup. (Just another thing to grind, IMO)
M&S will still out-number the player with the right attitude (or Elite-Jerk at their view).

Attaching player’s effort to keep them to a guild,
= Enforce a harder divorce policy in a country to reduce Divorce Rate

Of course the benifits on the guild (IRL, tax reduction from goverment) will make player hesitative to look for a better guild, and stay in a guild (Sololist on Elnia ‘s term).
It surely will decrease divorce rate (Guild Hopping) and increase the number of couples (Player stay in guild, rather than soloing).

But will that increase happy marriage (Which we really want?)
or just prolonging painful matches?

We’ll see…

Trolls

I had got my first troll, and Gevlon talk about a type of trolls on his posts. I wasn’t expecting any troll on my blog by the time, so I was kinda upset. A nice commenter had show his/her support, I really appreciated that. I understand that on the internet, there are lots of people hide behind the net and harass others. (e.g. the ganker for instance. I am personal against ganking). But I am also rejoice when good people comes by and give you a hand.

BTW, thanks for Cassini for making my “total comments count” even, but I was so tempted to reply you there (thus make it odd again ), You give me an unstoppable laughing for 5 minutes , thanks mate.

My Business

I found that I had little and little time on trading and game, for my lovely girl friend had come back to my city. (My bonny was over the ocean)
Which force me to take more profitable trade (per time) instead of satisify on a steady income. which is a nice thing I guess, the old trading start getting me bored

Market Shift

The 3.1 patches did change a lot, lots of experniced player had came back, trader included. The are much fewer decent deal now. Therefore I am clearing up the Buy Low Sell High Stockpiled goods now. Increased demand and supply balanced themselve on price, so it’s more-the-less do not change, however my selling become much faster as the market is more active now.

Inscription

As mentioned before, I had drop my enchanting and start my inscription career this week. I spent around 1000g for the herbs and inks for up my skill, on crafting glyphs and stockpiled ink for the production (Monday buying spree for the Northern herbs: Especially Adder’s Tongue).

RSS revamp

I found a hard time for me to keep track with all the blogosphere post now, So I start using Google Reader to read all the rss out there.
On the otherhand I found some problem on my rss feed as well and Fixed accordingly.

I had changed the RSS feed to FeedBurner, so if anyone subscribed the RSS already, please kindly re-subscribe again

New Columns

There are two Columns I am planning to write  Hope that I can spare some time on it soon…

For any fellow bloggers reading this, if you hadn’t tried the schedule post function, you should take a try. That save up much time, and avoid your blog from flooding and update- desert cycle.

I had been using that for two weeks now, and had 1 week reserve post piror  publish date, (and 5-6 drafting article at the same time).

Comments

I treasure every comments made by my readers, since I believed that the threshold of  “I am not interested”, to “I read the post” to “It’s worth commenting” is very high. So I likes to reply every single comment myself. (And thus keep the number of total comment a even number). Thanks for All who kindly leave me a comment.

Guess what, I just break my total-comments-should-be-even rules. Because of my first troll comment happened, while it’s not a joy thing about it, I would keep that comment as a memorial. (I didn’t get much troll attention before)

“Lrn2Engrish” – I know for sure that English is not my mother language, and I had to take much effort in-order to master it. On the other hand, while it may pose some difficulties for my readers to understand what I mean, most of them should able to get my ideas (if it worth their time). Instead of pointing out the problem or argument for my post, the only thing the troll would do is “Lrn2Engrish”. Thank you for the reminder, I would take a note about it. (And delete every similar comment afterward)

  Stocking up and Selling by one which had been an forever drafting topic on my list .
  And also an Video that we lack for most setting up Auctioneer for Starters.
• Cass on Not-Another-Mage-Blog changed his blog name to Paladin Tank Syndrome, and ding 80 on the way. It’s the Exploration XP, I guess
• Congratz to Markco for his new forum. Hope we can more juicy information from our fellow traders.
• Gevlon is Back!
  I mean seriously, I won’t take the Transfer posts he wrote those day as significant as philosophy post he good at. I guess the transfer had take up most of his time on that. But Post on Spec, AH Suggestion and Morons? Now we are talking.

My Business

Finally, I started my inscription business. I hesitated on it since some thing that the dual-spec system will ruin the inscription profession, And the argument make sense.

However, Since Gevlon and Markco reveal that aren’t going to happen. I started my training on inscription (dumped my 150 skill enchanting for disenchanting).
I didn’t go very far yet, but for my first 150 skill point, the training pay for itself, and I heard the sound of gold when I keep milling those herbs .

I made a mistake here, I shouldn’t be leveling my inscription on the weekend, while the price of the herbs are not stable. But the profit do cover it anyway (brain: you should be able to earn more on that, stupid).
