The Name and Purpose

Most the great name had been taken, for instances (Goblin and Gnomish). So I decided to use a pun from South Park.

Phase 3, Profits

What Phase are we now?

Phase 1: ???

Phase 2: ???

Phase 3: Profit!

What target of mine is to fill the gap on the big question mark, (of course it didn’t start at collect underpants or building oil rig)

• Where is phase 1 and phase 2?
• Where is Profits?
• Why there are Profits?

That’s what I’ll try to answer here.

Background

I don’t have a very solid goal as Gevlon or other wowecon blogger.

Gevlon want to demonstrate how one can earn gold without grinding.
(Why we should stop “helping” those M&S to help them become Independent)

I would just keep picking up pieces of thoughts, when the auctioneer scan bar is scanning

I love to reason and figure out why people behave in their way. That’s what I really love to, Getting big fish in trading at the same time is a bonus to me, And there are so many things to look into and talk about.

The game setting shapes the economy. By comparison the game world with real life (E.g. Information asymmetry is much smaller in Wow world. You don’t know an orange is sweet or not IRL, but you know exactly an item effects in wow)
We might get a much clearer picture than looking just one.

I am no economic expert, I don’t even take economic class in Uni. (I am a Software engineer) but if I can come up with some insight from there, So can most of my readers.
Therefore, there are no excuse for someone refuse to learn, with “because I didn’t learn it from school”

That’s what I’ll try to do here.
